Although it is built on the roof, there are no fewer facilities than the basketball court on the ground: basketball stands, rest chairs, lighting lamps, etc. are all available. The court is surrounded by barbed wire, so there is no danger that the ball will fly out of the roof.

The traditional metal halide lamps were used for the lighting of this rooftop basketball court before. Due to the existence of light decay, the brightness of the court lights is insufficient and uneven, and the glare and stroboscopic light of the lamps are serious, which is easy to cause eye fatigue and discomfort. At the same time, the light color of the light is too miscellaneous, not bright enough, and the visual experience is not realistic. The lighting quality of the venue cannot meet the needs of daily training and competition, so it is urgent to upgrade the lighting.

Through testing, the average illuminance of all venues has reached 588 lux, and the lighting quality of the roof basketball court has been comprehensively improved. While ensuring sufficient illuminance, the interference of glare and overflow light has been effectively controlled.
